New Year’s Resolutions … for Your Domain Name Portfolio

Reblogging this from FairWinds’ Domain Strategy Blog, as a nice (and all-too-necessary) reminder to get your Domain Name Portfolio into good order — removing old, irrelevant campaign, product, defensive registrations, and ineffective TLDs; potentially selling off generic names for a profit if you have them (and you probably do); adding new pages, even microsites, to take advantage of existing names that (in sum) can generate significant new traffic and new profit, usually from search engine type-ins; and potentially buying some new available names that can do the same or from new PPC efforts. There’s an awful lot that can be accomplished here; I think that intelligent Domain Name Portfolio Management is one of the least-recognized but potentially most-lucrative opportunities that’s available to Online Marketers.
